I create my game (Bloxxy Road) like Crossy Road - a single-player game where the player collects skins to use and tries to beat their highscore. There are other little things to make the game more addictive, but by-and-large that’s how it works. You gain coins from picking them up or getting them from daily gifts and can buy a crate which gives you a random skin. ![]() Some details about Crossy Road if you haven’t played:Īs suggested by the name, you pick a character (normally an animal) to play as and you have to cross lanes of traffic, rivers, and train tracks without falling into the water or being hit by a train or truck. So, I’ve done some thinking and I want your opinion on which of these two gameplay types would work the best for this game: ![]() When I posted that I was hiring a programmer, I got some negative feedback from developer saying that single-player games like these don’t do too well - and I agree. Maybe you’ve seen me post about this game before, but I had started developing a singe-player, hyper-casual game similar to Crossy Road or Frogger. ![]()
